Hannah Khalil

Hannah Khalil has been named Writer in Residence, Bristol Old Vic (2025-2030). Previously she was Resident Writer at Shakespeare’s Globe, work there includes Hakawatis, Henry VIII and The Fir Tree. My English Persian Kitchen sold out at the Edinburgh Festival 2024 and transferred to Soho theatre London. A Museum in Baghdad  marked the first play by an Arab woman on a main stage at the Royal Shakespeare Company and Scenes from 68* Years was shortlisted for the James Tait Black Award. Hannah is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
